A blog I wrote for FamilyFire has come out today on some guidelines about building and establishing a Godly home (which was in response to a reader of FamilyFire that reached out with this request). As usual, these are not the end-alls of the conversation but are merely my meanderings on the subject and reflections on what my wife and I have tried to do (and my “pastoral” response as well).
Should you be interested in reading it then you can find it here. I hope you find it edifying, challenging, and a great reminder that while we can do everything in the world and our humanly power to raise our kids and do anything and everything else…in the end THEY are who they are. We give them tools, we pray for them…and we send them. But we do so with God’s power, strength, and constant presence in their lives.
As usual, thank you all for you support and encouragement. May God bless you.
Shalom
