Judges 2:6-23 The Saving Work of God

Today’s text (and podcast) really is a refleciton of what the whole book of Judges is all about: a downward spiral of people’s sin. The people of Isarel have taken the land God promised to them and, as we saw last week, failed to remove the Canaanites from the land and begin to intermingle and worship false gods. But when things get back they cry out to God, he saves, they then abandon once more and fall even deeper. So today we jump into all that kind of happens with that WITHOUT looking specifically at a “judge” that God raises.
