When Jesus entered into the that final week of his life he did so in a very unconventional way: on a donkey through the throngs of worshippers. And yet while they all worshipped him and shouted his praises they were doing so for very different reasons than Jesus. Jesus’ entry, and the people’s desires for him, should challenge us to look at OUR needs for popularity and whom WE try to make happy.
