Amos 4 – The God Who Acts

In today’s podcast we dive into chapter 4 and quickly notice that it is now personal. That whereas previous chapters were more generic and “wide” in the prophetic declaration – this one calls out specific people for specific reasons. From the “cows of Bashan” to the worship of God’s people – it had all become broken and God had had enough. If his warnings and movements throughout their history wasn’t enough (which God reminds them here in vs 6-11) it now has become clear – God must act in a new way…so “prepare to meet your God.”
